E.TBD Contractor Opportunities
Interested in joining the E.TBD Team?
At Endeavor TBD, we believe operations power impact. We’re always looking for sharp, curious professionals who want to put their skills to work on projects that actually matter. Whether your thing is strategy, tech, or day-to-day operations, you’ll find opportunities here to partner with mission-driven organizations and help turn vision into execution. Learn more about some of our current team members at https://www.endeavortbd.com/aboutus.
About Our Roles
We work with clients through contract-based engagements, ranging from a few months to nearly a year. Our projects span everything from building operational plans and embedding fractional operators to implementing new technology systems and leading organizational change. You’ll be backed by E.TBD systems and practices, and plugged into a team that takes work seriously (but not ourselves). No matter the role, our team members are more than contractors—they are implementation partners who make a meaningful difference for our clients and communities.
Rates range from $30/hr – $125/hr, depending on role, project, and level of responsibility. Roles, hours, and engagement length vary. Some E.TBD contractors like to keep it light; others stack multiple projects. Contractors may take on different roles on different projects, i.e. act as a Strategic Lead on one and Project Support on another.
Strategic Lead (Contractor)
You…
Have deep experience in the social sector, social enterprise, technology, or ops, and have worked with executives (C-Suite or Board level).
Are a rockstar project lead: managing scope, timelines, and people while keeping clients fully engaged.
Bring chops in project management, change management, and understanding how social-impact orgs actually run.
Can facilitate with ease—supporting individuals, teams, and organizations through operational change.
Motivate teams, build trust, and get results. Clients walk away thinking you’re the best (because you are).
Technical Lead / Technical Resource (Contractor)
You…
May specialize in:
Technology / Digital Transformation:
Building and optimizing workplace systems: CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Insightly, Zoho One) and project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, Trello, ClickUp).
Know how to integrate tools natively or through middleware (Make, Zapier).
Focus on infrastructure and adoption—not just “the build.” You listen, gather real requirements, and design solutions that work now and scale later.
Are fluent in both “tech” and “people”—you’re the easiest tech person anyone’s worked with.
Operational Change:
Managing current-state → future-state shifts, end-to-end.
Training
Facilitating engaging, transformational sessions (in-person or virtual) so people actually take away actionable insights and plans.
Fractional Operator (Contractor)
You…
Love operations: admin, project management, process design, implementation.
Embed directly into a client’s team for a fraction of the week—running short-term initiatives, managing CEOs/COOs’ projects, or setting up systems (SOPs, admin flows, tech tools).
Are tech-savvy, process-oriented, and quick to organize complex info into something simple and usable.
Don’t need a certification to prove it—but you can show you’ve done the work and done it well.
Project Support (Contractor)
You…
Provide the glue: day-to-day project management and delivery support.
Keep documentation, scheduling, and administrative execution on track.
Love being part of a team, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
What We’re Looking For Across the Board
You’re the most organized person you know. “Follow-up” and “follow-through” are your middle names.
You fail forward. You’re fast, resourceful, and adaptable.
You believe in our values: Ack Right, Deliver Well, Be for Better.
You take the work seriously—but yourself, not so much.
